The “Deplorables” I Know

Published / by Lee Kessler / 3 Comments on The “Deplorables” I Know

No news agency covered this.    Even major influential talk show hosts missed the point.   News agencies who were covering the rally would have likely cut away–as it represented too much dead air time.

Last night in Missouri, at the last Trump Rally he did for the candidates, there was an unusually enthusiastic, committed crowd of attendees who stood outside in the rain for hours to get in.  I challenge you to look up this rally online, and watch the whole thing.   It doesn’t matter the outcome of elections.   It does matter that you understand the character and grace demonstrated there.

Well into his talk, a woman suffered a medical situation.   What transpired from there reveals the “Deplorables” I know.   I grew up with them. I went to school with them. I work with them.   It wasn’t just that the President spotted her, and drew attention to the fact she needed a doctor.   It wasn’t just that he did not go on with the rally, as he had his attention on getting her medical help.   So, thousands of people just waited patiently while the rally was interrupted–not for 30 seconds, but for MANY minutes.

It wasn’t just that the President from the side of the stage spoke often to the doctor saying, “Take your time, Doctor.   It’s all right…”   Then later came back to him again, leaning in to reassure him, and almost coach him, “It’s all right Doctor.   Don’t be nervous.   Take whatever time you need.   We have plenty of time…”

It wasn’t just that the crowd, that had been the most boisterous crowd I have ever watched, came to silence while this was happening–apparently taking their cue from the President.

And, it wasn’t just that the crowd at one point tried to encourage her by applauding.   That is something I learned from brilliant business mentors of mine over the years.   When someone is struggling with fear, or mistakes, or body situations, if you applaud them, it encourages them, and empowers them, and says, “you are doing fine!   We are with you.   Keep going.”

What it was is this:   When the situation continued on, and it was obvious by the President’s face that he was still concerned–and it was also obvious something very serious must be happening– the audience spontaneously started singing “Amazing Grace.”   It was everyone, singing in unison, and a peace and grace came over the room.

Right after that, she apparently was handled enough that she could be moved.   The President went back to the podium, but still kept referring to her.  And the rally continued.

What I took away was the fact that the audience knew something serious was happening, and the President was soothing and encouraging a doctor.   When she did not get up, I expect that they didn’t know if she would ever get up.   Whatever was on the mind of each individual there, they reached for the song “Amazing Grace,” and I could not help but note that it would be those words and music that she would hear, and come around, or it would be those words and music she would hear as she left this life…

Either way, there was comfort there–not directed by anyone, not forced, not phony.   Just the genuine grace that one human being can give to another.   These are “the Deplorables” I know.

Ask yourself this:   the people that I hang with, and listen to, what would they have done?   The answer to that will speak volumes.

What You Reward…

Published / by Lee Kessler / 2 Comments on What You Reward…

There is a truth in life that what you reward you get more of.   If you reward good behavior or thought–whether the reward be monetary or attention–you get more good behavior and thought.   And if you reward bad behavior with attention or money or support, you get more bad behavior.

Americans are innately fair-minded as a group.   There will always be outliers in any group, but as a whole Americans I have found believe in fairness, and where they find a lack of it, they will work to improve the situation.

What I want to have all of us look at is what are we rewarding today in the political scene, given all my previous blogs.    There is another inescapable truth–and history will bear me out on this. If you disagree with a law, you change it.   You don’t break it.   Breaking laws we find unworkable, or reprehensible, or stupid just leads to a progressive lawlessness.   That leads to anarchy.   And once anarchy is marauding through neighborhoods and households, tyranny and totalitarianism arise to quash it and restore order.

Your solemn right to vote stands now I believe between hope and anarchy.   You will decide which prevails in the coming decade by what you choose to reward.

Here’s how I look at it.   One group of imperfect people stands for the Rule of Law, for Due Process.   Another group of imperfect people stands for lawlessness, character assassination, and reverse Due Process–guilty until proven innocent.

It is a given that I am imperfect, and I dare to say you are too.   What matters is which group of imperfect people will you reward.   Will you reward the group that at least keeps trying to bring about fairness and justice when they are confronted with unfairness–that is at least still moored to the Rule of Law.  Or will you reward the group that will destroy any person in its path, encourage the dismissal of our Constitution, and disparage the Rule of Law?  Look at the actions–not the words.   Look, don’t listen.

Will you reward overall civility?   (Remember I am talking about IMPERFECT people here)   Or will you reward those who demonstrate disdain for the very foundational elements of our country?

Remember the Blog “Good’s Dilemma” (reread it please) that explains GOOD and BAD people, and their motives.  Tomorrow, you vote.   Tomorrow you reward one group or the other.   Choose wisely.   Who does the most good?   Who does the least harm?

I have faith in the American people…always have.   My ancestors fought in the Revolution to bring about a flawed, but idealistic country.  They brought hope to Mankind.  Later, my ancestors fought to free slaves, and to bring about a fairer America–ending a scourge that had endured for centuries.   We have not attained the absolute.  We never will.   But, we attain only Hell when we abandon good, lawful foundations.  We move progressively toward a better America when we follow the Constitution, and we adhere to the Rule of Law.

The return ticket to Slavery is lawlessness and anarchy.   So, who is the real Progressive here?   And who is the Regressive?   As for me, I stand for the Rule of Law!   I stand for Due Process for the citizens of this great, imperfect land.

Public Relations vs. Propaganda

Published / by Lee Kessler / 1 Comment on Public Relations vs. Propaganda

In the novel “White King and the Doctor” the Grandmaster Chess Champion, Andy Weir, is recruited by the CIA to help them identify what “moves” the mastermind of Al-Qaeda would make.   As Andy laid out a series of chess games he felt the terrorist was playing, he labeled each game from Religion, Military, Intelligence, Money, and others in an attempt to get the sequence the enemy might use.   Because of his own fame, and the fact he had a Public Relations person, Andy fatefully labels the game our government would have labeled Propaganda as Public Relations.   And it was that almost accidental choice which opened the door to finding a sabotaging force within the United States.

Are Propaganda and Public Relations one and the same?    Almost.   It’s how they have been used, and by whom, that has been the distinguishing factor.   But in reality, both implant data in the minds of the public often enough, and interestingly enough, that the public accepts the data, and begins to reach for more of the product, or more of the information.   Once the susceptibility to the message is in place, then the propagandist and the PR person can begin to use Marketing Buttons to get you to do what they want you to do.    The single word or phrase that you associate emotionally with the product now is symbolic of the product, or the information itself.   Thus, they no longer need to go through long press releases, or explanations of benefits, or reasoning on why you should take action.   They simply need to punch the Button, and you–having been preprogrammed on a stimulus-response basis–react the way you are intended to.   If skillfully done, you may not even know you are being manipulated.

I remember back in the 70’s and 80’s certain advertising agencies were even caught placing subliminal messages in their commercials, so that you  unconsciously would behave as they wanted.   Today, they are more overt, but manipulative nonetheless.

Regrettably the mere assigning of a label to a group for the actions or attitudes of a small number of individuals within that group, and then using that label as a “Button” to be punched in order to arouse emotions, has entered the landscape of American Politics.  You should look for “Buttons”–for if you do not, you will most certainly be manipulated.   We’d all like to think our evaluations and actions are reasoned.   But, the Black Public Relations person is as skilled as the Black Propagandist.    And he will get you to do his dirty work.

For example, in the 2016 election, I learned a great deal about myself–supposedly.   In many cases I even had to look up the words to see what “Button” was being pushed in someone else’s mind to get them to react to  me.   Remember that summer.  That was the summer that hundreds of millions of Americans were accused of being xenophobic, racist, misogynistic (to this day I have to look up the spelling of the word–which was not part of anyone’s parlance I dare to say until a very skillful Public Relations team made it so,), sexist, deplorable, bigoted, and the list goes on and on.

Some of you may remember being startled that your fellow countrymen thought so ill of you that they either called you names, or allowed you to be called names, where the name itself engenders hatred and violence.   You, as a reasoning, smart, thinking individual could be dismissed as just a “word”–as if the word summed up the totality of who you are and what you have stood for.

That’s insane, and you know it.   What you did not know–and I am revealing for the first time in this Blog–is  that “pulling the string” on that led me early on to find a Black PR firm.   The firm was masquerading as an Opposition Research firm, but it appears they just didn’t “research,” they also then got into “creative writing” to write and disseminate inflammatory, defamatory material about politicians they wanted to take down.   And some political candidates appeared to embrace them and their material.   It is one thing to dig up dirt on someone; it is altogether another thing to fabricate it, dress it up in a slick report, and pass it off as true.

So, before I end, I want you to brace yourself.   If you know me, you know I write political fiction which has proven to be astonishingly prophetic.   And well over a year ago–while still researching to see if I could find the real life “Samir” that I wrote about in my books–I stumbled upon a Black PR firm.   Long before the name came on your radar screen I brought the name up at the end of a “Meet the Author” event in Santa Clarita, Ca.    I asked the attendees to write down a name I was about to give them, and even though they would not know the name, I asked that they remember it, as I was quite certain it would become a household word in the coming year.

The name:   FUSION GPS

It’s time for you to unmask them for yourselves.   In my opinion, with people like this running around acting like friends of our country, who needs enemies!  Their only real mistake was in thinking you are too dumb or disinterested to ever really look into them, let alone actually perceive their vile manipulations.  I have never held you–or any other American citizen–in that light.   I believe in you, and your sanity, and I think that is why I was able to unlock the secrets of the White King Trilogy.   Prove me right please!

The Unasked Question

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

One of the things most troubling to rational Americans right now is the increasing lawlessness.  I am not speaking of the recent “ricin” attacks against members of the Administration, or the “suspicious devices” attacks upon prominent Democrats.   Those are acts of terrorism–domestic or international–designed to do just what Lenin said to do:   the purpose of terrorism is to terrify.   And with the Merchants of Fear and Chaos salivating over ways to frighten you further, you can be sure there is plenty of media coverage.

What I speak of is the apparent willingness of the population at large to break laws rather than to change them.   In a nation of laws, where the rule of law supersedes the knee-jerk, stimulus-response of the emotionally immature and intellectually lazy, if the population becomes increasingly emotional, and self-centered to the point that every individual feels they have a right to break every law they personally don’t like, that society will degenerate into lawlessness.   From there to anarchy, and from anarchy–history shows–to totalitarianism.   Either one man will rise up as dictator to restore order over the unruly population, or a group of men do.   Either way, it marks the end of freedom.

Well, if that is the end game, then the beginning is the encouragement and allowing of each of us to disregard or break laws at will.   At first it seems innocuous, and always justifiable, Remember that every bad act we have ever done has had its justification in our minds.  But as time goes on, the lawlessness becomes more pronounced.   Soon, the rights of the people are in jeopardy and are at the whim of individuals whose reason can not necessarily be trusted.  So, a good thing to teach our young people is this:   IF YOU DON’T LIKE A LAW, CHANGE IT!  DO NOT BREAK IT!  One path leads to anarchy, and the other leads to reevaluation and reform.

Not every law is necessary or workable now.   If we examine them, we can identify which ones we want to change, or abolish altogether.  This can only be done however if one learns to ask the right questions.   To understand a law, you have to have enough intellectual curiosity to understand why it came about in the first place, and what problem was the law–or some part of the law–intended to solve.   From that question comes follow-up questions like, “did it accomplish that goal?” and “is it even relevant to today?”  “Does it need modification to hit the right target?”   There are many questions that can be asked.

But, if the population is dumbed down and drugged up, spurred on by Merchants of Fear and Chaos who do not want an individual to act out of reason, but rather out of emotion and feelings, then gross errors can be made.  Take for example, the situation a few months back when our Southern Border was besieged, and folks were set up in temporary holding quarters–young children separated from their “mothers.”

The Black Propogandist had a field day with this one.  I personally have friends who could not even talk about the issues because they were so upset by seeing families “ripped apart,” children “torn from the arms of their parents,” and “scarred for life.”   It’s not the compassion and concern of my friends that I doubt or challenge, it is the fact they succumbed to pure emotion and feelings, and failed to ask the right question.   Instead, politicians and Media started promoting the abolishment of ICE (which is the wrong agency by the way.   The incident occurred at the border and was handled I believe by Border Patrol. Even I admit ignorance in these areas.)   The emotional impetus was to break the law and have others break the law because one didn’t like what they saw and were angry, sad, enraged, disgusted etc.   NOTE ALL OF THESE ARE EMOTIONS THE BLACK PROPOGANDIST PLAYS WITH.

The question not asked was this:   WHY ARE CHILDREN CROSSING THE BORDER ILLEGALLY SEPARATED FROM THE “PARENT” AND HELD SEPARATELY?

I am not advocating here that our Immigration laws don’t need reform.  In fact I believe the hodge-podge quilt approach we have created over the years leaves much to be fixed.   But, having written the novels I have, and done the research for “White King and the Battle of America: the Endgame,”  I want to direct your attention–ALL OF YOU, NO MATTER YOUR POLITICS–to a book entitled “A Crime So Monstrous” by undercover investigative journalist E. Benjamin Skinner.   And I want ALL OF YOU to ask yourself another unasked question:  “What is human trafficking, and what does it encompass?”

As evil as this is, and emotion-generating as it is, there are men and women who kidnap children and take them across our border, masquerading as a family that is just trying to get to a better way of life in the United States.   The problem is the child is now a slave, and is going to be sex-trafficked in the US potentially.   So, the children are separated from the woman who claims to be the mother, or the man who claims to be the father, until officials can sort out a few things. Namely, is the child DNA connected to the parents, and are there signs of abuse?   Ironically one of the things our Border people were most reviled for recently is one of the things we condone in the US under Child Protective Services, when a child seems to be endangered.

Most families crossing the border illegally are in fact families, but I believe in this last group, some were found to have no DNA connection, and appeared to be sexually abused.   If that is true, and even one child was found, rescued, and later returned to their rightful parents, then in my opinion it would have been worth it.   Do the optics look bad?  Of course.   The Black Propogandist is counting on that.   But, is the saving of a child worth the criticism?   You answer that for yourselves.

I can only tell you that if I were a family crossing the border of the United States of America, hoping to get my family into this great country–even if it meant breaking the law to do it–I would not be hyper-critical of the citizens and government of this country for trying to do it in an orderly fashion.   And, more importantly, even if my rightful children were “ripped from my arms” for a few weeks–admittedly lonely and confused–I would teach them that it was the right thing to do, if this small temporary sacrifice could help save another child wrongfully in the hands of a criminal human trafficker, or slave trader.   I would teach my children that.

Remember, the “one” does not always equal the “whole.”   Each issue in this complicated immigration issue has to be addressed separately, with solutions for each that serve our country well.   Neither you, nor I, nor our government officials should be bullied into NOT asking the question:  Why was the action taken?   Out of a hateful motive to punish and injure?   Or out of a desire to help?

And last, remember to do the most good you can, and the least harm you can.   That double-edged sword cries out for honest, rational questions to be asked and answered.   There is no room for hysteria, histrionics and drama when it comes to being “just.”   Speak to your government, and ask them the questions you feel need to be asked in order to do what is best for this country and all those blessed to live within its boundaries.

DREAM DEBT

Published / by Lee Kessler / 2 Comments on DREAM DEBT

I grew up in a household where my family’s heritage was proudly conveyed to me, along with an implicit message that I was now the inheritor of the dream.   My ancestor John Adsit fought in the Revolution, risking everything in order to be able to be free, own land, and to create a better future.   To this day my family preserves the land grant signed by George Washington as he personally recruited my family member into the Continental Army.   As I write this, I am looking at the table that document was signed on.

My father told me stories of his great uncle, and the devastating experience he had in the Civil War fighting at Gettysburg, continuing the fight for the freedom of others.  The reminder of his commitment–his rifle, and the canteen and bugle of a dead Confederate bugle boy. When I pressed my father for more information about why the bugle and canteen still resided with our family, he seemed pensive, and imparted to his five year old daughter the sense that much suffering and sacrifice has occurred across time,   And that the baton of the American Ideal would soon pass to me.   I concluded when I was very young that I owed a debt to those dreamers from long ago.   Their sacrifice made it possible for me to enjoy the opportunities I have had, and to chart my own course–a free person in a free land.

It is because of that “debt” that in June of 2004 I embarked upon a journey that has brought me to a high level of understanding, combined with the willingness to educate others, as to how America is being taken down from within.   That journey required that I utilize every skill set I had developed in various professional areas, and it required that I be ready and willing to face–without flinching–a very cunning enemy.

I have a 35 year background in marketing.   I am a student of the mind, quite expert in human behavior.   And I have had a 40 plus year career as an actress, during which time I have had the opportunity to play real people on many occasions.   It was that discipline and advanced type of character research that caused me to launch my investigation from a different angle than anyone in Intelligence, Government, Military, or the Media had entered.  I simply entered the problem from a different direction.   I decided to enter through the point of view of the enemy, and I posed questions to myself like, “If I were to try to neutralize the United States of America, and its people, how would I do that?   What strategies and tactics would I use?   Who would I recruit?  Could I do it in such a way that the ‘recruits’ would not even know it was happening, in fact they might even happily participate in it, thinking they were doing the right thing?  Could I, in fact, exercise a form of remote mind control? And most importantly, WHY?”

The answers to those questions became the books “White King and the Doctor” and the sequels “White King Rising” and “White King and the Battle of America: the Endgame.” In the coming blogs, we will take these questions on, one at a time, and tie them into current events. It should empower you and free you. That’s my goal. That’s my answer to the debt I owe.  I was charged by my parents with the responsibility to carry America forward, to contribute to the hope our country represents, and to leave it still  a Constitutional Republic when I leave this life. When that is done, I believe I will have paid the dream debt.  Let’s have some fun, shall we?
