The Fifth Column and the Republican Party

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

In the early 2000’s I began the journey that led to the 4 part series of suspense novels, culminating in the final book, “White King and the Seat at the Table.”  Inspired by actual events that had peaked my curiosity, causing me to want to locate the source of the apparent collapse of America from within, I theorized there was an actual group—intent upon taking dominion globally.  I asked myself, “What if a group of people wanted to take control of the world and its inhabitants?  What would they do?   Who would they have to defeat or destroy in order to accomplish  their dominance?

My conclusion was that the obstacle standing in their path—the great experiment that liberated men—was the United States.   And the American people were the underpinning of all that the United States represents.  In order to render the United States impotent, I theorized this enemy would have to undermine the people themselves.  And, more importantly, get the American people to do it to themselves.

The strategy is simple.   It is as old as any military strategy that exists.  Divide and Conquer.   Through the centuries generals and armies have used this strategy to defeat an otherwise formidable opponent.   Only this time, the Divide and Conquer strategy is being implemented through psychological warfare.   You may call it Information Warfare.  No matter the terms from the past, today propaganda and psychological warfare have evolved into Perception Management.  Information and disinformation are pitted against one another in order to manipulate your perceptions, and thereby your conclusions and actions. This simple marketing strategy in the hands of power-hungry, arrogant men and women has brought the United States to its knees.

I am sure none of us doubts that America is a nation that is divided—right straight down the middle.  The last two election cycles will have disabused even the most ardent deniers of the reality that Americans have two different universes they are living in now, and those universes are at war with each other.

The ongoing Twitter revelations have exposed this Perception Management in its most grotesque and dangerous light—harassment, censorship, collusion, and manipulation of data to manage the perceptions and actions of American citizens.

The very important question politically right now is: How was this division done? The answer: By inserting a Fifth Column not only into the United States, but most importantly into each of the foundational institutions we anchor on:  Family, Religion, Education, Justice, even Government.  There is a Fifth Column within each of those, and within subsets of each of those.  A Fifth Column is defined as: any group of people who undermine a larger group or nation from within, usually in favor of an enemy group or another nationl It is comprised of domestic actors who work to undermine the national interest, in cooperation with external rivals of the state.  And you, my friends, must come to understand this, or the Fifth Column will continue to erode government, morals, ethics, education, family values, individual identity, rule of law etc.  There is an external enemy.

You may ask, why am I laying this out now?  Can’t you just read my books to get an insight into how this might play out?  You could.  The novels are the allegorical story of this external rival and the internal Fifth Column over the last 20 years.  I encourage you to do that.  But, time is short, and there is one particular Fifth Column that I am sure exists.  And it is hamstringing our Legislative Branch.  That Fifth Column is not inside the Democrat Party.  They are almost like a Fifth Column of their own, hell-bent on sabotaging the Constitution, sowing division wherever they go. However, they are overt and predictable. A true Fifth Columnist will be covert, unpredictable, and most typically embraced as a friend.  That is why those involved are hard to ferret out.  And it will always be a surprise when you find out who they actually are.

The Fifth column I am referring to is one inside the Republican Party.  Of course, that is just my opinion.   But you should ask yourself why the Republican Party can not get unanimity on key issues.   Why do they have the unnerving capability of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory at almost every turn.  Witness the embarrassing inability to elect a Speaker of the House. Witness the disappointing performance overall in the 2022 elections.   Witness the acceptance of the monstrosity known as the Omnibus Bill.  Who could possibly be encouraging members of their group to vote for a 3000 page document that no one has likely read, to spend an additional $1.7T?  Who could possibly have failed to stall the vote until the new Congress would come in?  Why would they not delay?

Here’s my challenge to fellow conservatives:  Who is perhaps speaking self-righteously right now, as they encourage actions that would divide and weaken the party further?  In “Julius Ceasar” the soothsayer said, “Beware the Ides of March.”   Well, I’d like to say, “Beware the ‘Stand on Principle’ pitch.”   Standing on principle is important, but it is also a propaganda button used to manage your perceptions.  Who actually is being served if the Republican Party has been divided?  Who seduced and compromised enough members to embarrass and discredit the party itself? Moreover, who is the enemy group or nation that these trusted members are serving?

The answer, as repugnant as it may be to you, or shocking to you, lies in this overarching reality: human nature.  Why does a mayor run for governor?   Why does a governor run for President?  And what does a President, or top-echelon government official, run for?  What’s the next rung of the ladder they are climbing? It used to be that being President of the United States was the pinnacle of power, accomplishment, and leadership.  But, is that true today?  Or is there yet another echelon of power?

We need to ask those who are being divisive, “ Who are you really serving—wittingly or unwittingly?”

Who and where are the external enemy groups, whose favor they curry?  Who intends to exert authority over all of us, and who views themselves as senior to, not just us, but also our elected officials, and our Constitution itself?  It is these people that some of our trusted leaders pay homage to.  It is their favor they curry.

Here’s a hint to locate not only those who have been conned into destructive acts, but, more importantly, to ferret out those trusted allies who actually conned them:  They leave a verbal breadcrumb trail.  Listen now.   Look for those whose verbiage includes such things as Global Peace, Global Security (Zelensky before our Congress) , Global Health, Global Justice, Global Climate Change Initiatives, Global Digital Currencies, Global Energy Policies.

The purveyors of globalism are the antagonists in my latest book.   Those characters are as real as it gets, however.  And unless we get very expert at ferreting out the Fifth Columnists in each of our institutions, our families, our churches, our schools, and our government will continue to erode until we no longer resemble our former selves—as a people and as a nation.  I recommend we stop asking ourselves the questions, “Why would our leaders fail to protect the country?”  Why would they do something so stupid?  Why are they doing or not doing…?”

The answer does not so much lie in why .   The answer lies in the question, “Who are they in fact serving?”

While We Rearranged the Deck Chairs on the Titanic

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

It’s been a week since the 2022 mid-term elections, and final results are still not in. For seven days now there have been recriminations, finger-pointing, blame-shifting, jockeying for position for 2024, betrayal, shock, disappointment, glee, and endless preliminary analyses on how so many got so much so wrong. I will leave the postmortem on all that to the commentators and op-ed writers.

As for me, having written “White King and the Seat at the Table,”–the novel revealing who, how, and why America is being brought down from within–and having been raising red flags all through this election cycle, it is now time for a look from a different perspective, a different angle, and a different elevation.

All of America, certainly all of the Media, and all of our politicians pinned their hopes, on both sides, on last Tuesday. In Clearwater, Fl. in September, I attempted to warn a political activist group I had been asked to speak to that even if we won, it would not be a silver bullet, but rather a bullet dodged. My message and the reasoning behind it fell on deaf ears that night, as all were caught up in the frenzied and impassioned dedication to the task immediately in front of them.

Well, there were some wins and losses, but while we were distracted “rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic,” a great deal happened that no one was looking at. Even as I write this, those in charge in Washington are in heated debate over where they should put the chairs next time, who was too fat and tilted the ship, who left too many light weight chairs on the wrong side of the deck, who picked the wrong people to assign to areas of the deck and to traffic control, who didn’t pull their weight, etc. etc. That debate will go on for weeks.

But while it has been raging this week, the Titanic called the United States of America not only did not stabilize, it continues to sink, as America loses freedoms, wealth, hope, and leadership in the world. The gash produced by the iceberg floating in international waters is widening, and our nation itself is being swamped. Here’s what you missed in the frantic “rearranging of the deck chairs.” Here’s what our Media failed to cover.

The United Nations Climate Summit in Egypt is occurring. Heads of state of about 100 nations, including our own, are attending. For years now they meet annually as they plan on how to handle what they call the impending global climate disaster. It used to be called Global Warming, but that didn’t pan out. Then it was called Global Cooling, but that didn’t pan out. Knowing that the target would always be shifting in this pesky thing called the physical universe, their marketing department came up with a label that can be used forever, and will likely apply somewhere on our orb on any given Sunday–“Climate Change.”

However you feel about it, here’s what I saw and read about this week. Standing on the same stage were the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, and John Kerry representing the United States. He proudly laid out how they plan to handle a global climate-death emergency. They will use the Covid-19 model. We all know how that turned out. Lock-downs, mandates, cessation of freedom, individual medical freedom overridden. Kerry seemed to assert that the World Health Organization is poised to declare a global emergency, and when they do, the test-run of the pandemic and the protocols they used to curb it, will be implemented globally.

Whether it was Kerry or someone else who brought it up, there appears to be a GPS app now that can be used globally to measure CO2 emissions and identify who the culprits are who are harming the planet. They then can be located and “handled.”

So, while we were distracted, the world moved one step closer to an authoritarian global governance, with arbitrary designations determining who survives and who does not. If you have not done so, please read the fictionalized truth revealed in “White King and the Seat at the Table.” Reading a story will help you see what you can not see at the moment amidst all the current non-fiction noise.

It is my absolute intention that the Titanic does not sink, but we had better identify who floated an iceberg into our great nation before it is too late.

THE DESCENT INTO HELL

Published / by Lee Kessler / 3 Comments on THE DESCENT INTO HELL

THE DESCENT INTO HELL

It has been said that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. That may be true in many cases. But there is one path to Hell that is absolute. It is the path which takes otherwise sane, prosperous societies down into bondage and despair. It is the destroyer of all civilized people.

It is no respecter of persons. It matters not whether you are Democrat or Republican, who you voted for in 2020, whether you were at the Jan. 6 Rally, what pronouns you use. Once you set foot on this path, we are all equal, and we are all united in our descent.

One of the blessings of living in the United States, with a Constitutional Republic as our form of government, is that we are a nation of laws and due process. It was intended that all of us–no matter our status in life–would have equal protection under the law. And that we would be self-governing. Many of us have fought hard over time to live up to that intention.

Now, some 240 plus years after our founding, we have not just begun that dangerous descent, but rather we are well on our way. In a nation that cherishes law and order, and reason, each of us as citizens has a responsibility to uphold the law as it exists–or change it if it is wrong. Legally change it.

To do otherwise is to commence a descent into Hell. Here is the path. If you see a law you do not like, you work to change it in America. You do not break it. You LAWFULLY change it. If each of us can break any law we are in disagreement with, or ignore any court ruling we disagree with, then we descend into Lawlessness–a free for all.

Lawlessness, especially when driven by emotions such as hatred and fear, renders all of us vulnerable, as there can be no order when there is no respect for the law and due process, and no respect for the good people the laws protect.

Pervasive and capricious lawlessness descends into Anarchy. Every citizen is now the judge, jury, and executioner of not just the Rule of Law, but sadly even of their fellow countrymen. Individual whim, driven by base and out-of-control emotion, drives the citizens further down the path. One only has to look at the ever-expanding lawlessness in the United States that is going unanswered by the justice system to know that those responsible for protecting us have surrendered to the mob known as Anarchy.

My friends, Anarchy does not care about your Vaccination card. It does not stop its plundering to check it. It does not check your political beliefs and contributions. It does not care about your education and number of followers on Social Media. Like lava flowing from a volcano, it destroys everything in its path.

Anarchy has one–and only one–final outcome. Totalitarianism. In the presence of an out of control citizenry where honest men and women do not have rights, and live in fear of the prairie fire of Anarchy, governments–and misguided men–love to step in and “save everyone” by a complete and authoritarian hand. Bringing order once again, the citizenry is at first grateful for the authoritarianism, albeit heavy-handed. Soon, however, it becomes clear that the price for order imposed by those in charge was our freedom.

And the new regime will not let go. Having total control, they have given you the peace and calm you desired. The price for this New Order? SLAVERY.

And slavery–in our world today–is known as HELL. The descent into Hell is simple to plot. We were once a free people, who valued the Rule of Law and who worked to change it when injustices occurred or persisted. But, in the last few years, it has become justifiable to break the law, even encouraged. And from there we descended into accepted lawlessness. From there we have descended into pockets of anarchy. The totalitarian is waiting. In many areas of our country, he has already “saved you.”

You may not know you are trapped yet, and that a special brand of Hell has been developed for you. But, somewhere in our great land someone close to you is now living in Hell because you allowed people to break laws, rather than change them. And that began a descent that will inevitably suck you in as well if it is not checked.

The way out? Determined, courageous, self-less actions that stop the lawlessness by returning to the Constitution and its Rule of Law. Insistence upon Due Process. Insistence upon “innocent until proven guilty.” Insistence that an accusation alone does not mean guilt. Insistence upon intellectual integrity and curiosity, not Pavlov’s Dog-type reactions to every upsetting incident and gossip and slander. Insistence upon righting a wrong by changing any law that is wrong.

My friends, we either keep the power in our hands, where our ancestors fought and died to put it, or we surrender it into the hands of those who would be Totalitarians. Their residence? Hell.

The Path to Hell:

Law and Order

Breaking laws you disagree with–large or small–with impunity, Violating Court Orders you disagree with, Failure to work within the law to right the wrong

Lawlessness breaks out as a free-for-all begins

Anarchy ensues as the lawlessness spreads

Totalitarianism begins as the solution

Freedom dies.

This is the true road to Hell. And each one of us can stop it. Will you join me?

IT’S NOT TRUMP THEY HATE

Published / by Lee Kessler / 3 Comments on IT’S NOT TRUMP THEY HATE

On January 7, 2021 I was driving home to Florida after the January 6th Rally in Washington, DC.  Not one to normally listen to talk radio, I did that day. I was still in shock from the disconnect in the news between what tens of thousands of us experienced, and what the news was reporting.  And I was trying to put together the pieces for myself—and release the sadness that had gripped me, at the same time bracing myself for the vilification of all of us that would likely come.

Whatever talk show I had tuned into, I don’t even remember the host’s name.   But one thing a woman caller said—an insightful evaluation she made—struck me that day, and has remained with me ever since.  It was so powerful that the seed it planted gave rise to the solution I wrote in the novel “White King and the Seat at the Table.” I did not even know that day I would be writing a novel about our current global free-fall, let alone be directed in my looking and research by something a complete stranger said to an unknown talk show host.

Here’s what she said to the man.  She was trying to tell him that she didn’t like being told that she and others like her were just “Trump,” following in the “Trump Cult.”  In a brilliant analysis, she explained to the smart but cocky radio show celebrity that all the media and pundits had it wrong in their characterization of Trump’s supporters. “We are not Trump.  We are not mindless people trying to be ‘Trump.’ Trump is us. That’s why we love him.”

And in those simple sentences this ordinary American citizen put her finger on why 75 million Americans voted for him, and why his supporters still stay united and determined.  You may not understand this, but his supporters do.  Trump took the time to listen to the citizens of this country—no matter what party or status in life they were in.  He clearly identified with the people, and people in turn came to love him.

I don’t think the elites in Washington or anywhere else truly understand what a Populist is.  He was one of us.  Wealthier, sure.  More influential, sure.  But he possessed a stunning empathy and respect for the greatness of the American people.  We are not a weak people to be governed on behalf of.   We are the people who give consent to those who govern.  In the halls of universities, in Congress, in think tanks and in cable news networks, they don’t really seem to understand that fact.  Trump reflected the values and wishes of the American people.  Not the other way around.

But there are those who fueled hatred toward the President from the very beginning.  The attacks we all know were 24/7 and were brutally punishing and disruptive to a man who was simply trying to serve–every day in every way–the American People.  He truly put us first—whether we voted for him or not.

Far worse though is this:  there are enemies of our Constitutional Republic who do understand what I just said.  Though their attacks were aimed directly at him, these people clearly understood that he was us. It was you and I—Americans all—that they were attacking.  He was just the man in the middle who was willing to take the blows.

So, although you might have missed it, and despite all the bellowing from the mountain tops, it is not Trump that the world’s elites hate.  It is us.  If you want to know why his “base” is remaining so solid, I think it is because we realized long ago that one man can’t be such a lightning rod for hate.  He’s not.  He’s the shield in front of the real target.  On a gut level we know that we are the hated ones.   We are the target.  We are the ones who have to be silenced and stopped.  And we love the man who was willing to stand up for us, as one of us.

It is the values of the American People, the talents of the American People, the brilliance and work ethic of the American people that very real enemies hate.  Those who would reduce this country to a lawless tyranny and end our form of government don’t really care what party you are in—what jersey you wear.  They care about their own power globally.  And we the people are the only thing standing in the way of their authoritarian vision for the future.

We have far more that unites us than divides us no matter what the relentless propagandizing of the Media pounds us with daily.  Fortunately there is hope.  These people are so stupid that they believe we are mindless cult followers—with no vision of our own.  They believe we are Trump and can be dumped on the same trash heap they want to dump him on.  But they are wrong.  They are blind.  We are who the American people have always been, and Donald J. Trump is one of us.  He exemplifies us.

So, the next time you are tempted to join in the Trump bashing, echoing their cliched criticisms, just remember it is not Trump they hate.   It is you.  What they say about him is how they feel about you.  They know he reflects you.  We do not reflect him. And the enemies of our Republic, both foreign and domestic, just can’t abide the American People.  It is just that simple.

Dyslexia–the Progressives’ Learning Disability

Published / by Lee Kessler / 2 Comments on Dyslexia–the Progressives’ Learning Disability

Progressives, if you wonder why we aren’t listening to you, it’s because you—in my opinion—suffer from what I call “Progressive Dyslexia.”  In case you don’t know what I mean by that, I am focusing on this:  your approach to any problem in our society, and the policies you create to handle the issue, are habitually backasswards!

For years now, myself and over 100 million other Americans have had to listen to to you.  Webster’s should add a new phrase into its hallowed pages.  “Progressive Dyslexia: A learning disorder characterized by juvenile emotions, coupled with sophomoric at best analyses, devoid of intellectual curiosity, leading to habitually reversing the sequence of solutions and to disastrous consequences.”

Let me just illustrate what I mean.  Almost all of us have taken a cooking class of some kind, or learned how to read a recipe book.  Always, there are not only ingredients, but also the sequence to put them in to get the desired result.  If you do things in the wrong sequence, you ruin the dish.

The same is true in chemistry.  Before I switched my major to acting and directing I was a science major and took a serious chemistry class my first year of college.  I aced that class.  But, I learned very quickly that when combining substances, there is a sequence to adding things together, so that you form the desired compound you want without blowing up the lab.   Make no mistake, the right ingredients put together in the wrong sequence can create a disaster.

And that is exactly what you Progressives are doing to America.  You are blowing up the lab of the “Great Experiment.”  We have learned from our mistakes and warts through the centuries.  That is because, if we suffered an adverse effect, we reasoned our way through it to a better solution, and then sequenced the solution so that it would produce a result.

So, here is what is so blatantly obvious that you, again in my opinion, deserve to be scorned!  Developing alternative energy sources is a positive idea, and one which most people would agree with, as it represents our continued understanding of resources, and development of those resources, to not only maintain a standard of living, but to enhance it. Here’s the rub.  Any Middle Schooler would be able to figure out that if you want to move away from gas and oil for example, and eventually replace it with electric energy for industry and home, you would not substitute electric for gas when you don’t have the electric ready in sufficient quantity and with distribution systems in place to effect the change.  To stop the gas and oil without the replacement—actual replacement, not a pipe dream high school science project theory—will cost lives, and risk our security. You don’t need an engineering degree to understand this stuff.

The thinking person would naturally continue the gas and oil, and gradually phase in the electric over time.   At a point, the preponderance shifts to the new energy sources, and you can phase out or down the old.  That is not what you did.  Driven by the emotions of fear and hate, you stopped the oil, and started the puny electric.   It will be years before electric is ready to fuel all our needs—if ever.  Yet, that choice leaves us cold, stranded, and risks our national security as well.

Any of us with pets would know better than that. Just remember what happened when you changed your dog’s food suddenly from dry to wet! You learned real quick that the sequence is keep the dry dog food, and phase in a little wet. Then a little more wet, then more. Eventually, you can end the dry.

Another example that has us scoffing at you.  Even a child in elementary school would have known—since all children play some kind of war or combat games—that if you need or want to withdraw, you take your military out last, not first.  In the case of Afghanistan, the Joint Chiefs and the Administration should perhaps have brought in outside child consultants.   They would have been told for sure to take the citizens and their allies out first, then all equipment the enemy might benefit from, and last the military.  The military role is understandable by even a small child.  You protect the evacuation, and you leave last.

Any of us who fly on airplanes, or who have needed emergency personnel such as firefighters or police  know very well that those people leave last, and get you out first. That is the right sequence.  Gen. Milley and cohorts, yours was the wrong sequence.  Progressive Dyslexia at the highest levels of leadership.

Also, when confronted with an illness, any of us who has had a cold or flu—or something more serious like a cancer or multiple sclerosis–knows immediately to go to therapeutics first, while seeking a vaccine or a cure.  Yet, during this pandemic, and continuing to this very day, if one seeks out old, tested therapeutics that might lesson symptoms and aid recovery, they are pilloried, vilified, and denied.  Vaccines which are a good idea, but which have not withstood the test of time relevant to their effectiveness and side effects, should not be given first, at the expense of the other.

We don’t need a science degree to know that if our child has a fever of 106 degrees, the doctors will lower that temperature as fast as possible, even while they are testing to identify the cause.  To continue diagnostically searching for a cause and then debating the best therapy may be a good idea in some “bar discussion,” but if the patient suffers brain damage from the intensity of the fever because no one treated that first, the point is moot.  Parents, you know the truth of what I am saying.  If you call the doctor with that emergency, the first thing they will tell you to do is get the kid into an ice bath, or get ice packs, apply them, and get him to the ER.

Common sense my friends.  You all have it.  But the Progressives seem to be controlled by an obsessive, compulsive disorder that demands they go in the wrong sequence to solve problems.  Any idiot can see the problem needs to be solved.  Reversing the sequence of the approach however has “ruined the dish.”

If someone is demanding that you do something illogical, which flies in the face of your life experiences to date, take heed, for Progressive Dyslexia regrettably is a contagious disease.
