A Tale of Two Riots

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

Having lived on the most violent campus in America in 1969–University of Wisconsin, Madison campus–I had the “opportunity” to watch up close and all-too-personal the tactics of two domestic terror groups–the SDS and the Weather Underground. Another Blog will address them. Suffice it to say, I know what “outside agitators” look, act, and sound like. I know planned, repeated vandalism. I recognize carefully orchestrated and perfectly executed fire bombings. And I know mob mentality and hysteria.

In the early 1990s, Los Angeles was besieged with the riots following the Rodney King verdict. With that as the justification, we endured days of rioting, vandalism, violence, looting, and assaults. Though the Media only wanted to focus on the mobs of then African-Americans looting and destroying their own neighborhood businesses, my attention was on something far more sinister–the perfectly time-released fire-bombings. The cameras loved the visual images of buildings in flames, and the looting below, but they ignored the plight of LA Fire Department as they valiantly tried to put out fires. Ultimately, it was hopeless because the bombs were torching buildings a few blocks away from each other, and a precise number of minutes apart. No sooner would one fire crew arrive than they would get another call, and another, and another.

Then, “it” leapt to another segment of the city, quite remote from the first. Always the same pattern. First the fires, then the looting mobs. But, the most interesting part of the story is something I heard anecdotally. The Media never covered what I am about to tell you. But, all you need to do is query some ministers in the areas effected, and you will likely hear the tale. I must have picked it up from some newspaper, or local TV show. The national news had their story. They had accomplished their purpose of fear and chaos. They would not want to cover this.

To calm the streets down, the moms, and ministers in the areas where the rioters were raging went out on the street at night, and patrolled the streets themselves–knowing that their sons would not attack them. It worked.

They further understood, the ministers did, that after a few days, the mind that has been roiled and driven to mindless, insane acts, settles down. And when the individual “comes back to himself” if you will, he has terrible remorse. They knew that would happen here. Soon, the rioters and looters would realize they had destroyed their own neighborhoods, and the businesses of their own friends.

So, the ministers put the word out that if someone felt remorse, they could bring what they had stolen to the churches. They announced an amnesty and said it would be safe. People could simply come and anonymously drop off what they had taken. The ministers informed them to put a note on the item if they remembered where they had stolen it, and if they did not remember, they said, bring it back anyway. We will let the merchants come and figure it out.

Did it work? You skeptics probably think “no way!” If my memory serves me well, approximately 90% of what was stolen was returned. NOW THAT IS A STORY. Likely one you never heard.

Now, contrast that to the riots of this past week. It is almost as if Los Angeles had been a dress rehearsal from 25 years ago. This time, instead of the violence and madness leaping from one neighborhood to another a great distance away, the rage leaped from one major city to another. Then from one state to another. Almost like a diabolical wac-a-mole game, the countries’ law enforcement agencies and fire departments were overwhelmed. Just when they thought they had it quelled, an eruption in another city would ensue.

We are still in the dying throes of the violence, but only after Federal tools became engaged, or were offered. My message though has to do with the fact the Media has had no shortage of “hot spots” to train their cameras on in order to demonstrate to a horrified America the degree of rage, insanity, and hatred that ran our streets. The legal and peaceful protests for the death of George Floyd were disrupted by the violence of another group with another intention. As always, the provocateur will seize upon a legitimate grievance, and use it to ignite the sensational, destructive images we have had to watch.

This time, however, it was so vast in scope, so rapid in its incendiary emotions, so removed from the “neighborhood” that it not only overwhelmed law enforcement and fire departments, I doubt any moms or ministers were able to walk the streets.

That is the tale of the George Floyd riots. In days, minds will calm down, people will restore their emotional stability. Remorse will set in on a national scale, with national proportions.

Alike in tactics, similar in types of devastation, these are the tales of two riots. Do you think you should perhaps speak to every minister in every neighborhood effected, from every religion, and tell them the ending of the first story?

They may have already begun. They may have thought of it, or spoken to counterparts in Los Angeles at that time who may be guiding them on how to restore calm and decency. On the other hand, they may not have thought of it. They, too, may be overwhelmed and afraid. After all, images of churches firebombed and now boarded up are daunting–for all of us to look at. Perhaps the clergy are still in “lockdown.”

I hope not. I am an eternal optimist. What do you say we get 90% of what was stolen returned? What do you say we encourage the looters to begin to make amends? No matter how justified that seemed to them in the heat of “other-generated, destructive passions,” in the end, no one was benefited–except the anarchist. Least of all, the peaceful protesters who wanted to make George Floyd’s death count for something, who wanted to insure accountability, not vengeance for his death.

What do you say? Will you get this to your clergy? I am sure they are creative enough to write their own ending to this tale.

Justice and the “Right Target”

Published / by Lee Kessler / 1 Comment on Justice and the “Right Target”

We, as a people, are inherently good and just. Yet injustice has been the lot of man for all time. The more advanced all of us become, however, the more acutely aware we become of injustice, and we seek to make it right somehow.

So, why then, is America on fire over the death of George Floyd? There are platitudes and clichés enough for a lifetime out there. What I want to address is how do we go forward from blind mistrust, and even blind hatred into a future that can be better?

When an injustice occurs, such as the one in this case, but in all cases actually–and when the injustice is so obvious and loathsome as to turn everyone’s stomach–Americans exercise their 1st Amendment right to peaceably assemble, and we march in protest The operative phrase there is “peaceably assemble.” Not riot, burn, beat, and terrorize.

The Constitution is a simple and beautiful document. It allows for us to recognize a wrong, and come in great numbers to draw attention to the issue. But, for justice to occur, one has to insist on hitting the right target–not just any target that one bears a grudge against for whatever reason.

It appears that between 1 and 5 officers were responsible for the death of this man. It was a needless death, and a shameful one. Someone should be punished. Who? Though we might want to ball all injustice up into one tidy package and right everything at once, that is not life, my friends. You, as good people, address each situation as you meet it–insisting on justice for the harmed in that situation, and against the transgressor in that situation. It is the foundation of the Rule of Law.

Slow, as it might be, it is the only fair thing to do. Find the right target, and hit it with the right force, to change the behavior of that target. Then, if need be, move to another target.

What the anarchist does, however, is to prey upon emotion, fear, and past injustices to incite one to do things they otherwise would not do–to commit crimes themselves. And, in every case, they usually miss the right target in their rage to hit any target. They, in fact, create a worse crime because instead of attacking one innocent person as happened with Floyd, they attack thousands of innocent people.

Throughout this country, as I write this, innocent business owners serving the very neighborhoods that are on fire, have lost their businesses, their faith, their safety, and some, their lives. Certainly they are examples of hitting the “wrong target.” Why? To avenge the death of one man?

No, if you want justice for George Floyd, see to it that peaceful protests occur until the right charges are brought against the right man or men, and that an honest trial occurs. Whatever punishment may ensue then follows the rule of law.

Antifa, however, is an anarchist group. They do not have politics like you my Democrat friends and my Republican friends. That is a delusion. I met this group under a different name 50 years ago. Frankly, they could care less. Their game is hatred and destruction, and they take joy in getting you to hate along with them in the name of “justice.” Mass wrongs to avenge one wrong–in the name of all wrongs from all of our past history. That, my friends, is insanity, and criminality at a very high level.

It removes you automatically from present time rationality and use of your Constitution legally, and deposits you in the cesspool of mob irrationality and criminality.

We all despise lynch mobs. We also all despise men cloaked in white or black sheets, or masks, to hide their identity, and malevolence.

The anarchist wants you hating your neighbor, even though you had no quarrel before. The anarchist wants you to resort mindlessly to bats, rocks, torches, knives, guns, and bombs for one purpose–that you in your mindless fear will bring about fear in others. And, the society deteriorates into chaos.

Anarchy ends in totalitarianism. I wrote to you about this two years ago. (See The Rule of Law blog) The remedy you ask? Not just to anarchistic and other domestic terror groups, but to Injustice itself? Know your Constitution, and insist legally that justice–even though blind–can “see” well enough to hit the right target. Beautifully, once the right individual or group has been identified and handled, not with a torch or hanging rope, but by the rule of law, a calm comes over us. Even though there may be more work to do and more injustice to fight, hatred is dying and its toxicity is washing away from us–one “just” action at a time.

The injustice was created in a society one unjust action at a time, and the route out is to reverse it, one just action at a time, from here forward.

The anarchist is gambling that you will not have the wit, the strength, the patience, or the character to stay the course. The anarchist is gambling that they can inflame you into mass destruction and the setback of all. They wait for a true injustice to occur, and then attach to it and move to overwhelm your logic with generalities that the one bad actor represents all of his kind.

It can be about race. It can be about religion. It can be about anything. Look around the world, and you will see ample evidence of “injustice.” The question is, are we hitting the “right target” or just “any target”?

And, once they have you dripping with blood–innocent blood–that is so repulsive, the “totalitarian” steps in to control us all. Slow down, friends. See that the police in this case who caused the death of this man receive the justice they deserve.

And then, move on to the next true injustice and hit the right target there. Eventually behavior changes, and honest men and women everywhere have rights.

A Warning from the Past–revisited

“Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper.  Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle.  The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day. . . .  I will add, that the man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them; inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods & errors.”

Attributed to Thomas Jefferson (June 11, 1807) – Principal author of the Declaration of Independence, 3rd, President of the United States from 1801 to 1809

Food for thought for today’s climate: What is “lying by omission?” And then ask yourself how devastating is it to you if the Press omits key facts that would allow you to properly evaluate?

You are the boss.

Dwarfed by the news of the Pandemic and the national shutdown, the last two weeks however have also seen monumental revelations concerning abuse of power and corruption at the highest levels of the FBI, and Justice Departments from 2016 to the recent past.

Documents long sought under the rule of law–not anonymous sources making up and “leaking” whatever–have surfaced. The picture I and many have described and tried to help you see is now clear. In their own words in emails and texts, and even in their own handwriting, the proof of a plot, and the identities of the malevolent cast of characters are now visible for you to see.

You may writhe, and struggle, and deny and argue, but this data will be evidence–in my opinion–in courts of law in the coming months. Justice is sometimes slow, but eventually truth does out.

A mentor of mine in business was overheard telling one of his young proteges this: “The things that will hurt you most in life are the things you accept as true, but which are actually false.” One takes the lie, and begins to think, evaluate, and decide through the filter of the lie. And terrible consequences can ensue.

So, Director Comey, I watched you last year on national television brazenly and pridefully confess to actions which were part of a coup. You laughed, and thought you would get away with it. Except for that pesky little thing called the Law, you would have.

Now, as of last week, we know the back story. As I wrote in the novel “White King and the Doctor,” if you want to overturn a government, without a hot war and without being spotted as the subversive, you “persuade” the people of that country to do it themselves.

What is that back story then? A counter-intelligence operation which we would normally run against another country to covertly overthrow a government there, was turned against our own government. The goal? The overthrow of the President of the United States.

James Comey, you have a right to remain silent…

None Dare Call It Sedition

Published / by Lee Kessler / 2 Comments on None Dare Call It Sedition

In information warfare, one of the tenets is the spreading of disinformation. And, one of the most effective tactics is misdirection of attention–get people to look away in another direction while you do something where they are not looking. It is known as a diversion–and in our current layman’s terms, a distraction.

No doubt all of us would agree that the Wuhan Virus, which is real, and the responses we have taken to it, are a distraction at an order of magnitude unheard of in our history. It is not hard to be distracted when you are locked down in your home, bombarded with bad news, cautions, threats, news 24/7, out of work, and afraid.

So, what have we missed while distracted? Quite a bit. To start with, the redacted footnotes from Inspector General Horowitz’s report on FISA abuse within the FBI are now–after months of demands–unredacted. They confirm what many knew, but you were vilified if you even discussed it. The new evidence confirms Russian meddling on behalf of the Clinton Campaign through the use of misinformation. The middlemen/buffers? Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele.

His further report on 19 additional FISA warrants where he discovered none were founded, and basically, in my words, that the court was misled, sheds a spotlight on one of the darkest, most dangerous activities begun and condoned by the previous Administration’s Justice Department, and FBI.

The newest material will likely pale in comparison to what Durham has uncovered so far. We do not know where his investigation will eventually end, but no doubt he is a bloodhound. The Attorney General has already indicated that the “deeply troubling” data he has seen so far, about meddling and interfering in the 2016 election campaign to destroy the candidacy of Donald J. Trump, is only prologue. He has intimated in the strongest way possible in recent interviews that as egregious as that was, it extended beyond the campaign and election into the Presidency itself. He has characterized it as “sabotage.” The intent? To overthrow a sitting President.

Friends, no matter your political party, or degree of emotionality you have for the various men and women who play in the swamp, YOU and YOU ALONE are the only ones who should oust a President. You do that by your ballot in the ballot box.

If anyone else attempts to do it, they are usurping your rights as a citizen of this country. Notice that when the national disgrace known as the Impeachment of President Trump (which followed the attempt to force him from office by the now-verifiable Russian Collusion Hoax, the Ukraine Hoax, and any other failed propaganda campaigns the American people have had to endure these last 3 years) failed, we suddenly had our attention directed to the Wuhan Virus.

The President himself was pre-occupied during his own Impeachment with his perception that a dangerous virus was about to arrive here. And while we were totally distracted–mesmerized by the foolishness in our Congress–he closed the border to anyone arriving from China.

Hoping we would not notice that the removal by Impeachment effort had failed, all guns trained on him then to accuse him of being racist and xenophobic for trying to stop travel from China.

And now, we are totally absorbed with our own survival. Distracted royally once again, and diverted from looking at the criminal investigations and their imminent findings, the next diversion is to turn your wrath on the President for the fact we had the virus at all, and that Americans died during it.

Adam Schiff has reared his ugly head again, and is beginning investigations to see if the President’s handling of the Corona Virus constitutes an Impeachable Offense. Flailing around, looking for anything he can find to attack, the stupidity and perfidy of the Washington swamp continues.

And, all of that, my friends, is the newest attempt to divert your attention from the real cause of all the turmoil we have been through these last 3.5 years. The cast of characters is the same. The attack lines have been diverse. But, it was all agreed to by elected and non-elected officials inside the previous Administration–whose influence extends into the current Administration as well.

This is not just harassment, in my opinion. This is not just “dirty tricks.” This is persecution. There is a word for it. I intend to use that word today. The word is Sedition. (Definition: Conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of a state or lawful authority.)

The known cast of characters includes former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former FBI Director James Comey, former Counter Intelligence FBI agent Peter Strok, former British spy Christopher Steele, the Russian Intelligence disinformation crew, former Presidential Candidate Hilary Clinton, and the Clinton campaign who knew the file they commissioned was bogus. The FBI also knew it was, from the get-go. That is part of the new evidence. They knew, and they used it anyway–before and AFTER the election.

My point though is simply this. We are distracted for sure. Just don’t be so distracted that you dismiss the arduous, dangerous work that has led to new evidence, and which will lead to even more.

Someone wants you to rebel–legally or illegally, civilly or violently. Someone wants you to be “the patsy.” Hiding in the shadows they are trying to get you to do the dirty work. (If you really want to identify who they are, read my trilogy.)

Oh wait, I could be wrong. It may in fact be treason. (Definition: Violation of allegiance towards one’s country or sovereign, the betrayal of one’s country by purposely aiding its enemies.) Ahh, but we are not at war, right? So, our enemies can not be called that. They are to be called adversaries for legal purposes.

But, in the vernacular, I think you understand both terms. And, I think we have all been the victims of sedition and/or treason for 4 years.

If you have followed my blogs, you know I have been calling out Director John Brennan for some time–ever since I saw him on television in an interview where he looked directly into the camera and said, “Stay tuned Mr. President.” That was a direct threat to the President, and as an American citizen, I did not like it. I would have had the same reaction, by the way, if one had done that to President Obama, Bush, or Clinton. I am not talking about some talk-show host shooting off their mouth. I am talking about a person who has the power and wherewithal to do unthinkable deeds.

Read the Blog entitled, “The mysterious, missing, Mr. Mifsud” I believe for sure that John Brennan is the “TARGET” ( and I mean that in legal terms) of the Durhalm criminal investigation. I believe the man I call “the Bloodhound” is closing in.

So, some may have been distracted, Mr. Brennan. But “the Bloodhound” doesn’t appear to be one of them. Me either. “Stay tuned, Director Brennan, stay tuned.”

He Took the Bait

Published / by Lee Kessler / 2 Comments on He Took the Bait

By now, many of you have figured out that either there is something about this Wuhan Virus that we don’t know about–so sinister that it requires shutting down the total economy of the United States and other nations as well, risking a global economic depression--or that somebody with an agenda went fishing, hoping to reel in the President of the United States.

Personally, I suspect the latter. If you know anything about Donald Trump through the years, and have not just been brainwashed by media hype about him, you know he has had a reputation his whole life for being very compassionate. He is renowned for, before running for office, reading about some travail of an American citizen, or seeing something on the television about someone who was struggling, and contacting them directly to solve their problem.

Anyone who is actually watching the daily briefings on this crisis can see that he sincerely struggles with the death of any American. Two days ago, when Dr. Birx was answering a reporter’s question, she inserted into her answer–as she often does–a personal anecdote. She stated that she too had been personally effected when her granddaughter last week had a 105 degree temperature, and she, though a physician, could not go to her because of the strict policies, and her commitment to the country and to The Task Force.

The news reporter may not have had their eyes open, but the camera reveals things. The President was standing to her right, and behind her, and he was clearly surprised at her story. When the reporter challenged with his next question, the President’s attention was clearly still on Dr. Birx. “How is your grandson?” Once reassured that it was her grand-daughter and that she was OK, he returned his attention to the press conference.

Look up for yourself what he personally did when he heard that his friend, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, had been moved to intensive care in a London hospital two days ago.

He is also apparently a self-admitted bit of a germaphobe. He’s been accused unjustly of being just about every other kind of “phobe.” But, this is one he jokes about because he washed his hands constantly long before the Wuhan Virus reared its ugly head.

Those two ingredients–innate compassion, and high sensitivity to germ’s potential–became a sort of Achilles Heel. After 4 years of relentless hounding and frontal attacks, and the man still standing strong, his Achilles Heel had been found.

That made it easy for people (and you are going to have to ferret this out for yourself) to persuade him to literally turn off the entire economy in one stroke, send almost all Americans home from work, and force us into lockdown, afraid. The case I am sure was very compelling, backed up by “experts” out the wazoo, who caused the President to take even more drastic actions than he already had. He took the bait.

And, I believe that less than two weeks ago, he realized he had been ill-served and misled, and that the extremity of our actions would in the end perhaps save some lives, but it would destroy the economy for some months, if not years. It could destroy the lives and livelihoods of tens of millions of people.

When I heard him declare that he could not have the “cure be worse than the disease,” I knew he realized he had been conned. (The virus is real, and it can kill. That is not the point.) The chosen solution–driven by his desire to keep Americans safe–was in fact going to put more of us in jeopardy for a longer period of time than the disease itself.

He’s a smart man, and he will extricate himself and us from this. But, the question you should be asking yourselves is: Who wanted this? Who did this? Don’t go shallow on your analysis. Don’t lean on past clichés, with answers like “Pelosi and the Democrats.” Frankly they are not smart enough. If you have read my “White King and the Doctor” you know the three dimensional chess game the hero, Andy Weir, was playing with a real-life, real-threat enemy. And, you will discover who were the “pawns.” No matter how much Pelosi, Schiff and Schumer–or any other of your favorite political villains–storm and strut about the stage, they are the pawns of a very real group.

So, ask yourself who benefits if we tank and the American people are returned to poverty? Who benefits if the middle class, which was being rebuilt by Trump’s policies, is suppressed once again? Who benefits if Americans are afraid of hidden attackers like this virus?

Years ago, a wise business mentor of mine, when he was attempting to expose to a young, naïve woman the threats to prosperity and security, said to me, “It’s always about money, Lee. Follow the money.”

And, I have. Pulling on that string led to “White King and the Battle of America: the Endgame.” Just know there is a group that benefits from all wars–always has and always will.

So, follow the money, and ask yourself, “Who benefits?” The answer ties up all the myriad attack lines, actual conspiracies, chaos, confusion, and divisive subjugation tactics of the last four years into one neat, tidy, understandable and breathtakingly simple package.

Tip: Don’t rely upon the Media to do this for you. They lack neither the intellect, nor the intellectual curiosity to do that great a service for their fellow countrymen. Nope, they drank the Kool Aid long ago.

Hint: Though they operate with tentacles and surrogates inside the United States, they are not based in the United States.
