Where Have I Been?

Published / by Lee Kessler / 8 Comments on Where Have I Been?

Recently I have been receiving emails, texts, and phone calls wondering where I have been. The kind folks communicating have missed my Blogs, and their insights and challenges. And they wanted to make sure I am okay.

I am definitely okay. But, I have spent the last 6 months writing the 4th novel in the White King series: “White King and the Seat at the Table.” It will be released in early November, with presales beginning in October.

It is the story of America, Americans, and a future being planned for us. And it is the most important creative work I have done in my life. Hopefully, it will prove to be the best I have done.

It is a novel I never thought I would have to write. But the events of this last year forced me to take a higher level look than ever before, and to connect some dots that will take your breath away. Hopefully, after that brief shock, your next breath will be one of fresh air and hope. A very clear picture should emerge.

So, stay tuned, my friends. And thank you for your concern.

“Woke” or “Awake?”

Published / by Lee Kessler / 3 Comments on “Woke” or “Awake?”

Probably most people reading this will not consider themselves “woke.” That, frankly, is a term I wish had never come into our parlance. But, if you are “woke,” this is for you especially.

Most of you probably consider yourselves “awake.” I am sure you are. And, I hope that you are as well. But there are different degrees of “awake.” This Blog may help you increase your capacity.

Artists lead a culture. It is their vision and imagination which has, through time, helped people see what is possible, and what is necessary even. They see the world uniquely, and can help you see things that might be otherwise invisible, or perhaps overlooked.

I am an artist for sure. My field today is writing. Currently I am working on–and almost finished with the first draft of–the fourth book in the White King Series. It should be released in the fall, and it is the story of The Great Reset which is occurring on this planet today. Titled, “White King and the Seat at the Table,” the heroes you have come to love are tackling the entire package of who is doing this reset, why they are doing it, what they are doing, and where they are implementing it. And, more horrifyingly, what they intend for you and me.

So, my friends, I have some homework I suggest for you if you want to bring your “awakeness” to a higher level. You will need to find these three movies, for each is probably 30-40 years old. But, I am sure you can find them.

Watch them, in the context of today, not simply the context of the story line in its time 30+ years ago. See how prophetic they seem to you. See if they move you. See if you spot what today’s adversaries are doing. Characters and plot lines may change, but the underlying vision of those who have a different intention for our future than you and I hold for ourselves, remains true today.

Here they are: “Red Dawn” with Patrick Swayze, “Rollover” with Jane Fonda and Kris Kristofferson, and “Soylent Green” with Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson. Wake up calls, all of them.

In the coming Blogs I promise a sneak peek at the newest adventures of Andy Weir, Brian Washington Carver, and James Mikolas.

Here’s to being truly awake, all of us!!

Rip Van Winkle?

Published / by Lee Kessler / 1 Comment on Rip Van Winkle?

I don’t know whether the President is a 21st Century Rip Van Winkle, or what? Listening to him address the nation last week–promising us that if we behave ourselves, and “follow the science,”we may be able to have a few folks over for the 4th of July in our back yards–I felt I was watching Theater of the Absurd.

Doesn’t anyone at the White House or on his staff remember that last month we had a Super Bowl? THE NFL HAD A SUPERBOWL. I know, because it was in my town, my team, and we won. AND THERE WERE 25000 PEOPLE IN THE STANDS!!! It was all done safely, and there were no adverse virus effects that I am aware of upon the population–either in the arena, or at their homes when they returned.

And we even had fireworks all along Tampa Bay. Kind of like an early 4th of July!

We cannot change what has happened to friends, family members, and our countrymen this past year. It is now history. We can mourn the dead. But we must live for the living. That means setting high expectations, not low ones. We have learned a great deal in the last 12 months, and many of us are applying it toward greater freedom and success.

So, please, Mr. President, don’t lecture me empathetically to achieve something we have already accomplished. We have moved way past having a few folks over–4 months from now. It makes you look foolish. You used war references (appropriately) related to conquering this situation. Well, sir, this is a “hill we have already taken.” Don’t squander more lives retaking the same hill.

To pretend otherwise makes you look out of touch with more than half of the great country you serve. Or is it your scientific advisors who are out of touch? Regardless, somebody over there at the White House needs to wake up Rip Van Winkle, and get into present time.

It Didn’t Take Long

Published / by Lee Kessler / 1 Comment on It Didn’t Take Long

This Blog is going to be short, just about as short as the length of time between the “changing of the guard” at the White House on January 20, and the destruction of women’s sports as you know it.

Women have fought for decades to establish women’s sports–from grade school to college and into the pros. Acceptance of women’s leagues in all manner of athletic competition has been a hard fought for accomplishment. Even to this day women are still fighting for better incomes in their sports.

Young girls all over this country have been sacrificing and training, hoping to get scholarships to go to college, or even perhaps get a professional contract.

Yet, in just the stroke of a pen, President Biden wiped out decades of fairness and achievement by women throughout the United States. Where is the ACLU on this one? Where is NOW?

You explain that one to the brokenhearted girls and their parents. I don’t know how.

Hate Kills

Published / by Lee Kessler / 2 Comments on Hate Kills

Webster’s defines “hate” as: an intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury.

At this point in my life, one of the saddest things for me to watch is what I predicted would be the outcome of a true Fifth Column attack upon the great American people–ALL Americans. The purpose of the Fifth Column in military terms is to sabotage and to break the solidarity of the group it is attacking. It is where subterfuge, and disinformation, and exploitation lies. It is always an inside job.

You can read my books. They have proven prophetic. But, today I only want to say something about that one word–hate.

Hate does kill others, if it is acted upon. That is obvious and sophomoric. Hate does kill the hated. It even kills the innocent.

But, mostly, hate kills the hater.

It kills the body actually with depository illnesses and the like. It weakens the body.

It kills the mind by destroying reason, intellectual curiosity, rational clear thought, fairness, compassion and the other things we hold as desirable in a workable society. It drives one to psychosis and insanity. Nothing prospers in the stimulus-response world of hatred.

But, worst of all, it kills the soul. It quashes all the higher, enlightened, spiritual aspirations of you. And as you or I cease to be good, we cease to do good.

Hate also blinds the hater. One who hates can not see truth, will not examine factual data, and will not ask questions that probe further. ( One such question is “why?”) Regrettably, the hater can not see who or what he hates. He can not even see himself.

Hate opens the door to the “exploiter.” It always has.

The way out? Decide to stop hating. Decide to slow down and learn how to ask the questions that will help you come to understanding. You can do it. Understanding one’s fellows and their intentions can dissolve quickly the hard residue of hatred. And, it defeats automatically the “exploiter.”
