My Prayer for Brittney Griner

Published / by Lee Kessler / 4 Comments on My Prayer for Brittney Griner

This is my prayer for you, Ms. Griner. As an American, I am happy you are home, and reunited with your family. I do not choose to discuss lifestyle or politics today. You are an American, and you have a right to be back in the United States of America. It is my understanding that Viktor Bout’s family is equally joyous at his return.

What I want you to understand though is that Americans will die as a result of this exchange. You are free to pursue now your American Dream–the NBA, where you play basketball. Mr. Bout is now free to pursue his dream, which is to kill Americans.

And make no mistake, Americans will die in the future as a result of your freedom. You will not know their names, nor will I, for some time. But, make no mistake, your experience in Russia must have established for you a new reality on the difference between true freedom–however flawed you view it–and true suppression. Mr. Bout will ensure, directly or indirectly, that Americans die.

So, please, honor them now in advance. Men and women–and possibly children–will pay the price for your freedom. Their families will never be “reunited” because their loved one will have perished. The government of the United States has decided to spare you, in exchange for the future death of American citizens. It is my prayer that you be grateful for the sacrifice the countrymen you have disparaged will make in the near future for you. And that you will show the same grace and compassion for them and their beliefs as they, as Americans, have shown to you today.

It is my further prayer for you that you become an activist now to bring home every American who has been seized–regardless of their politics, their gender, their color, or any other thing you value. They are Americans, and they deserve not to be left behind. Your credentials, and those of Steph Curry as well, should help them and their families.

And it is my final prayer for you–coming from someone as different from you as you can imagine–that you cease disrespecting this country and your fellow countrymen who will have made an ultimate sacrifice so you can pursue the American Dream. I honor what you have done. Now let’s see what you learned from this, and who you become, and what you do in the future.

Welcome home, Ms. Griner. You are welcome here!

From, “someone who could be the next intended victim of Viktor Bout.”

And it is my prayer for my fellow Americans that you spread this Blog “far and wide, even into the seats of power.”

The Trophy Generation Grew Up

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

Over a decade ago I remember having a conversation with a friend who was befuddled by the idea of everyone getting a trophy, just for showing up–not for excelling. My friend was lamenting the horrible lack of values and success principles that represented, and he asked, “what’s it going to be like when this ‘trophy generation’ grows up?” Looking back I am sure he was considering what it would be like for the Millennials when they came of age and had neither the emotional maturity, the drive, the pursuit of excellence mindset, or even skill sets to encounter life. In his mind, I am sure he felt life would give them a beating.

Instead, the Trophy Generation is giving us a beating. They have grown up–in years at least–and the entire generation is now voting. That generation is defined as those born between 1981 and 1996. They are now between 25 and 41. They are your doctors, your teachers, members of city councils, your ministers, middle to senior management in corporations, founders of technology companies, your district attorneys, your mayors, and members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. They have done what every young person of every generation has done. They have started into life, and are making their way into positions of senior authority.

The difference is we now know the consequences of a generation where significant numbers are still living at home even into their 30s, where they have been educated into the anti-American woke culture, are driven by their emotions rather than logic, where they can repeat rote slogans, but lack the intellectual curiosity or integrity to even scratch the surface of analysis to think for themselves. We know they run in packs, supporting each other’s viewpoints and neuroses.

And they are in charge now–including in the political arena! Following what I considered to be a lamentable, yet predictable, outcome of the 2022 elections in many arenas, there is a lot of head scratching going on as to how we could have two elections in a row where the margin of victory for either candidate was razor thin, and how our country, whose electoral system was the envy of the world, has descended into distrust and uncertainty.

I believe the answer lies here. The Baby Boomers were once the largest generation in the US, and controlled almost all of business, education, and government. However the US Census Bureau reported that the Millennials have now become the largest generation, as of 2019. And that the Millennial Generation, and younger, now comprise more than half of the US population–166 million.

In my opinion, that means that politics as we knew it is over. This group is now voting. And they are voting based upon their world view and life view–basically influenced by what they experienced in their education, good or bad. And if they grew up expecting to be rewarded for just being there, and not contributing to excellence, they will be takers more than givers, and they outnumber the US voter who was raised with a fierce work ethic and sense of personal responsibility.

Where I think we missed this lies with us spending time wondering how the “JFK Democrats” and moderate neighbors we grew up with and competed with–who are patriots too–suddenly became radicalized and joined the “Woke.” I hear pundits asking how these regular Democrats could possibly have sold out to the extreme wing of that party. They didn’t. They are now outnumbered, voter-wise. Many may have secretly voted Republican, hoping to bring things back to the normal political game they were accustomed to. Their constituency is something they never saw coming.

But an energized, organized, and mobilized new generation of voters are registering and voting. They are of all backgrounds, races, ethnicity. They have a couple of things in common though. They were educated in the US education system over the last decades, and they bullied their parents into letting them coast because they are so “special.”

Having coached this generation in business for more than 20 years, that is why I wrote the political fiction series known as the “White King Series.” It was written for Millennials. The heroes Andy Weir and Brian Washington Carver represent the best that generation has to offer. They represent courage, commitment, intelligence, imagination, character, and a relentless pursuit of freedom. And they defeat our real-life, real-threat global enemies, and stop The Great Reset that is occurring right now.

If you want to start to influence the minds of this huge generation, I suggest you let them travel with the story and emotion of the “White King.” Let them experience the current events of the last two decades through the eyes and minds of peer patriots who bring about change with grace. Let them be entertained and, in the process, start to use their own creative imagination to solve the real-world threats, not just regurgitate the propaganda they have been force fed. For the story of the White King is the story of America’s decline in the 21st Century. It is also the story of how to reverse it–not by fighting this largest generation, but by tapping into the strengths of the individuals who comprise that generation. Let them “earn” the trophy that the final victory in “White King and the Seat at the Table” offers.

Our enemies are betting that the Millennials’ weaknesses will prevail, and America will be removed from the world stage. I, however, am not!

While We Rearranged the Deck Chairs on the Titanic

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

It’s been a week since the 2022 mid-term elections, and final results are still not in. For seven days now there have been recriminations, finger-pointing, blame-shifting, jockeying for position for 2024, betrayal, shock, disappointment, glee, and endless preliminary analyses on how so many got so much so wrong. I will leave the postmortem on all that to the commentators and op-ed writers.

As for me, having written “White King and the Seat at the Table,”–the novel revealing who, how, and why America is being brought down from within–and having been raising red flags all through this election cycle, it is now time for a look from a different perspective, a different angle, and a different elevation.

All of America, certainly all of the Media, and all of our politicians pinned their hopes, on both sides, on last Tuesday. In Clearwater, Fl. in September, I attempted to warn a political activist group I had been asked to speak to that even if we won, it would not be a silver bullet, but rather a bullet dodged. My message and the reasoning behind it fell on deaf ears that night, as all were caught up in the frenzied and impassioned dedication to the task immediately in front of them.

Well, there were some wins and losses, but while we were distracted “rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic,” a great deal happened that no one was looking at. Even as I write this, those in charge in Washington are in heated debate over where they should put the chairs next time, who was too fat and tilted the ship, who left too many light weight chairs on the wrong side of the deck, who picked the wrong people to assign to areas of the deck and to traffic control, who didn’t pull their weight, etc. etc. That debate will go on for weeks.

But while it has been raging this week, the Titanic called the United States of America not only did not stabilize, it continues to sink, as America loses freedoms, wealth, hope, and leadership in the world. The gash produced by the iceberg floating in international waters is widening, and our nation itself is being swamped. Here’s what you missed in the frantic “rearranging of the deck chairs.” Here’s what our Media failed to cover.

The United Nations Climate Summit in Egypt is occurring. Heads of state of about 100 nations, including our own, are attending. For years now they meet annually as they plan on how to handle what they call the impending global climate disaster. It used to be called Global Warming, but that didn’t pan out. Then it was called Global Cooling, but that didn’t pan out. Knowing that the target would always be shifting in this pesky thing called the physical universe, their marketing department came up with a label that can be used forever, and will likely apply somewhere on our orb on any given Sunday–“Climate Change.”

However you feel about it, here’s what I saw and read about this week. Standing on the same stage were the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, and John Kerry representing the United States. He proudly laid out how they plan to handle a global climate-death emergency. They will use the Covid-19 model. We all know how that turned out. Lock-downs, mandates, cessation of freedom, individual medical freedom overridden. Kerry seemed to assert that the World Health Organization is poised to declare a global emergency, and when they do, the test-run of the pandemic and the protocols they used to curb it, will be implemented globally.

Whether it was Kerry or someone else who brought it up, there appears to be a GPS app now that can be used globally to measure CO2 emissions and identify who the culprits are who are harming the planet. They then can be located and “handled.”

So, while we were distracted, the world moved one step closer to an authoritarian global governance, with arbitrary designations determining who survives and who does not. If you have not done so, please read the fictionalized truth revealed in “White King and the Seat at the Table.” Reading a story will help you see what you can not see at the moment amidst all the current non-fiction noise.

It is my absolute intention that the Titanic does not sink, but we had better identify who floated an iceberg into our great nation before it is too late.

A TRIBUTE TO A “LUCKY MAN”

Published / by Lee Kessler / Leave a Comment

On Oct. 2, 2022 America lost a true American patriot, and an especially brilliant and talented man. Stephen Luckey was a friend of mine–I had known him and his wife Jeannie for 17 years. Steve was the first person to really encourage me and support my novel “White King and the Doctor,” and every book since in the series. He had a strong belief in what I was doing, and his furtherance of the book made all the difference in what has happened since. I am profoundly grateful to the man who met a perfect stranger, believed in her, and supported her.

But the book I would encourage you all to read is his own autobiography, “Lucky Man: A Life Lived One Shot at a Time.” Written during the final two years of his life, it reveals his delicious irreverence, his courage, his vastly diversified areas of expertise, and his great love of country and family. It is the story of an American hero, told humbly. Steve Luckey was the winner of a Bronze Star for his groundbreaking and tremendously dangerous work in Viet Nam. And that was just the beginning of a long, successful life adventure.

He fought valiantly against the disease that ended his life. From the moment of the diagnosis I believe he knew the eventual outcome. Yet he was determined to take every moment, every day of life, and live it with valor and with humor. There were two warriors in that fight. His wife Jeannie was never not at his side, creating a normalcy where none would otherwise have existed. I admired the two of them, as they faced all challenges together. “Lucky man” found a great mate who had the stamina and the will to fight along side him.

These bonds and characteristics represent the best of us I believe. Steve lived his life professionally to secure our great country from so many different enemies. He was respected for that. Yet, at his Memorial Celebration, it was evident to me as his family spoke about their dad that he lived his life personally with the same passion and commitment–determined to make this a better world for his family, and the families of all of us.

I am grateful to have known him. I am reassured in the goodness of our country, for having known him. I am inspired by the strength of the American family and am dedicated to making sure the family unit is never destroyed in this country. Though I did not know him through any of the incredible adventures you will read about in his book, I am proud to have watched a hero face the end with honor and grace.

Steve Luckey, you will be missed. But you will never be forgotten.

I encourage you all to pause, and remember. Here is the link to his book: https://www.amazon.com/Lucky-Man-Life-Lived-Shot/dp/0578904527/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=lucky+man+book&qid=1666058238&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIyLjc4IiwicXNhIjoiMi4yOSIsInFzcCI6IjIuMjUifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-1

California–the Prototype for the Nation

Published / by Lee Kessler / 1 Comment on California–the Prototype for the Nation

When I arrived in California in the 1970’s as an idealistic and enthusiastic young actress, I remember how enamored I was with the beautiful state, and Los Angeles itself. Intellectuals in New York used to disparage Los Angeles, claiming pridefully that artists in Los Angeles were just wannabes, and that the real creative genius of our country lay undisputedly in New York City. Artists almost had to apologize for being from Los Angeles if they wanted to be taken seriously.

Alas, all has changed now, however. The ever-expanding totalitarian creep that has permeated all of our foundational institutions–education, family, religion, justice– has taken root in California, flourishing there at a breathtaking pace, and setting the example for the rest of the United States. That example, in my opinion, will ruin us all. Once called the “land of fruits and nuts” California has now risen to become the “prototype for all social and environmental experiments in the United States.”

If the news is to be believed, California proudly leads the country in its dictatorial, invasive, unfair policies aimed at its citizens. These are almost too numerous to mention and have been addressed in depth by those covering the exodus of Californians to other freer states.

However, I have a word of warning for all who think they are escaping the repressive policies. You are not. This horror show will be “coming to a theater near you” very soon. Whoever has set the vision for the United States in the future–and it has been set, make no mistake–have chosen all new things to be tested in California first. If successful there, no matter how outrageous it seems to you, it will be exported to other states. One by one, states will succumb to the cancer of socialism. And I predict you will see ignorant or complicit leadership gleefully embrace policies that, in the end, could impoverish us all, and enslave us all.

For example, many of you probably read about the ban on all new gas-powered cars in California by 2035. Whether the citizen wants it or not, whether the citizen can afford it or not, he will have to buy electric vehicles if he wants a new car, struggle to find gas for his old car, or bicycle around. You may have thought that idea was ridiculous and won’t catch hold. Wrong! Even before it has been implemented fully, California’s reputation for being the place where all “progressive” innovations, and forward-thinking ideas flourish is causing other states to salivate. Just a few months after Newsom announced this new blatant interference with free commerce, free choice of the consumer, and is leading his people like sheep to the alter of the Climate God, New York has apparently announced they will do the same. Why? Because all these “bright ideas” are tested first in the Golden State, and then can roll out elsewhere. That is the definition of a prototype.

Take also the guaranteed minimum income of $1000/month that is starting as a test project for three years in parts of Los Angeles. Heated debate is going on about the effects of such a thing on the taxpayer/producer, and on the unsuspecting person who receives something he didn’t earn. No better way to make a person weak than to treat him as if he cannot produce. Yet they are doing just that. Many of you may have already scoffed at that idea, shaking your heads in dismay. Well, that too is “coming to a theater near you.” Cook County in Illinois suddenly says it wants to do the same thing. They may be a bit more timid than Los Angeles, though. They are only offering $500/month to those whose hopes and dreams will be destroyed by being labeled unable to succeed. Once again, before the prototype has even been thoroughly tested, it is being embraced.

In the medical area, you may have read that the bill passed in California and has been signed by the Governor that punishes physicians for advice and guidance they give to patients, if that advice does not align with the “approved science” of the WOKE and ignorant. See the NY Times, Aug. 29. Nothing like some bureaucrat who probably never even took an advanced science class to be dictating to doctors what they can and cannot recommend to their patients. Forget the doctor’s oath; forget the doctor/patient confidentiality. Medical professionals can now be disciplined by the “state” for doing what they were trained to do: observe, diagnose, evaluate, recommend, and treat the individual in front of them.

How long do you think it will be before another state decides to create such legislation? Who wants to take bets on who it will be? Are you living in that state right now?

I have a message for those fleeing California. It might be better to “defund” the lunatics who create these social justice and environmental prototypes, lest you move to another state, only to find the cancer has spread there too.

So, to my friends around this great country–especially in New York and Washington, DC: Don’t underestimate California. Do not ignore the disgusting, repressive ideas they come up with, and put into policy and practice. If the prototype works in accomplishing their goal, it will roll out. The citizens are losing their freedom to choose. They are losing their hard-earned income, witnessing the beginning of the redistribution of their money under the guise of “social justice” and “fairness.” And the medical professionals will surrender their ethics and integrity, or risk losing their ability to honestly practice their profession.

Just as in the justice system, once a precedent has been established, it carries forward and becomes the justification for future rulings. Make no mistake. This is California’s role in the brave new world I write about in my novels. They are the testing lab for an enslaving future. If you want to know what is planned for your state, look to California. What a nickname, huh? “California–the prototype for the nation.”
